1. “Grease”

You can’t go wrong with the iconic “Grease” crew costumes. This is perfect for groups with both guys and girls. It’s probably one of the simplest group Halloween costumes around. For the Pink Ladies, put your hair up in a ponytail, find cat-eye glasses, a scarf to tie around your neck, and a pink satin jacket. Wear with black leggings and some black flats and you’re done! The guys have it even easier. They just have to slick some grease in their hair, find a leather jacket and some jeans and they’re greasers!

2. Minions

We can’t get over the adorable and mischievous little minions from “Despicable Me.” Run around the town in this group Halloween costume and cause some ruckus. This is also a fairly simple costume to put together. Find some denim overalls, a yellow t-shirt, beanie, and make some goggles and you and your crew will become the best minions around.

3. “Stranger Things”

Gear up to fight the Demogorgon with “Stranger Things” group Halloween costumes. There are so many characters to play, everyone will have a choice. The most important character is Eleven. Find a pink dress and a messy platinum blonde wig and use red makeup to paint a nosebleed and you’re done! Just be careful to control your powers while out and about this Halloween.

4. The Sanderson Sisters

Get your two best girlfriends and dress up as Salem’s favorite witches, the Sanderson Sisters from “Hocus Pocus.” You can buy these costumes from a costume shop, which is probably easier than trying to put them together yourself. Their eccentric 17th-century dresses can be difficult to find in a retail store today.

Have one more member of your crew that wants to partake in group Halloween costumes? Have them dress as Binx, the black cat that keeps an eye on the sisters for multiple centuries.

5. “Golden Girls”

Embrace your elderly side and borrow some of your grandmother’s clothes because this is one of the best group Halloween costumes you and your friends could put together. Find yourselves some white and gray wigs and deck yourselves out in costume jewelry, big glasses, and colorful patterns.

If you don’t have four people, you can always just dress up as elderly people for Halloween. These costumes promise to be comfortable.

6. “Mean Girls”

Luckily, Halloween falls on a Wednesday this year, so you are obligated to wear pink anyways. Find your favorite redheaded friend for Cady and pull out your pinkest clothing to make up this easy to put together group costume. There are a few ways to pull this costume off. You can recreate the iconic movie poster, the Christmas dance during the talent show, or the girls and Cady before she is inducted into their girl gang.

7. “Baywatch”

If you can brace the cold, then this is one of the easiest group Halloween costumes a crew can pull off. Simply buy some red bathing suits and carry around lifeguard buoys and whistles. It’s also a great chance to show off that summer body one last time this year before the weather gets way too cold.

8. David S. Pumpkins

Recreate Tom Hanks’s hilarious “SNL” character, David S. Pumpkins by putting on a curly black wig and dressing up in pumpkin patterns. Your friends should dress as skeletons and dance around the town this Halloween making it known just how much you love pumpkins and Halloween.

9. M&Ms or Crayons

Looking for a simple DIY Halloween costume for your group? You can’t go wrong with America’s favorite candy and go-to coloring tools. Simply find an outfit that is the same color and put either an M for M&M on it or a Crayola with some squiggle lines for a crayon. Props to your group if you can all find onesies to pull this costume off.

10. La Croix

Get your crew to dress up as everyone’s new favorite fizzy drink, La Croix. There are so many flavors to choose from, nobody will fight over who they want to be this Halloween. If you run out of flavors, have someone dress up as La Croix’s biggest fan. Don’t forget to hydrate with the sparkling water throughout Halloween night.

Group Halloween Costumes

Group Halloween costumes require some imagination, creativity, and coordination within your group. Hopefully, these costume ideas gave you and your group some inspiration as to what you will all dress up like this coming Halloween.
